Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance
Past issues before 2008 · Editorial Board ·
Author Instructions · New JCMR site
The first and only journal devoted exclusively to cardiovascular magnetic
resonance (CMR), the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic ResonanceR (JCMR)
contains basic and clinical research articles, and review articles on the
research, design, development, manufacture, and evaluation of magnetic
resonance methods as applied to the cardiovascular system. JCMR fills a
critical gap in the science and practice of cardiology and related
disciplines.
All authors who are SCMR members
publish for free in JCMR.
JCMR covers topics such as:
- New applications of magnetic resonance to diagnose, risk stratify, and better characterize diseases affecting the cardiovascular system
- New methods to enhance acquisition and data analysis
- Results of multicenter, or larger individual center, studies that provide insight into the utility of MR
- Basic biological perceptions derived by MR methods
Reporting new information and expertly reviewing all aspects of the field for the entire cardiac MR community, the JCMR serves as essential reading for:
- Clinicians, including adult and pediatric cardiologists, radiologists,
cardiovascular surgeons, internists, primary care physicians, and family practitioners
- Scientists involved in vascular biology, cardiac biochemistry, spectroscopy,
imaging physics, and biomedical engineering
- Technologists, including all professionals involved in the hands-on
performance of MR tests
- Product Manufacturers, including contrast agents companies, imaging
system
designers and manufacturers, spectroscopy system manufacturers, and
pharmaceutical companies.
From 2008, JCMR is an Open Access journal. All articles are free to download
